Dr. Krisztián Lóránt-Maróthy

Dr. Lóránt-Maróthy focuses on high-stakes M&A, corporate, and real estate matters — especially those involving complex structures, tight timelines, or competing stakeholder interests.
He has played a key role in transactions exceeding several hundred million euros in total value, advising investors, founders, corporate groups, and regulated entities in Hungary and across borders. His work spans private share deals, capital increases, real estate acquisitions, and major corporate reorganizations, including mergers and spin-offs. He is experienced across the full transaction lifecycle — from structuring and due diligence to negotiation, drafting, and closing — often in collaboration with financial advisors, in-house counsel, and international legal teams.
Before founding the firm, he advised listed and private companies at a leading Budapest law firm, focusing on corporate governance, shareholder relations, and restructuring. He also spent time at a Big Four advisory firm, gaining firsthand insight into regulatory, tax, and compliance procedures — experience that continues to inform his approach in transactions involving authorities and complex stakeholder environments.
Clients appreciate his direct communication, sharp analysis, and focus on practical delivery. Every mandate is supported by a dedicated team to ensure depth, speed, and continuity across all stages.
He holds a law degree from Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), Faculty of Law, and is a member of the Budapest Bar Association.
He also holds a black belt in judo — a discipline that reflects his focus, strategic mindset, and composure under pressure.
